Snow covered mountains, Rocky landscapes, tall trees, Narrow roads with steep twists and turns, a scary River beneath the deep ditch  flowing by the side, Yaks, wild rabbits, Romance, Adventure and what not? All these elements delineate this beautiful valley situated in the embrace of the Himalayas known as Manali. Manali is situated in Himachal Pradesh, India at a distance of about 538 kilometres from Delhi, the national capital of India, 309 kilometres from Chandigarh and about 40 kilometres from Kullu, the neighbouring District where nearest airport ‘Bhuntar airport’ is also situated. Best time to visit Manali is throughout the year but if you want to see snow then one must plan a trip somewhere between the end of November to March. The temperature in Manali remains between 21 degree Celsius (70 Fahrenheit) maximum to -5 (23 Fahrenheit) degree Celsius.

For me, My trip never completes without doing famous touristy activities of that locale. Along with all the amazing things mentioned above the pure joy of being a traveller doesn’t get completed unless one doesn’t go for the typical touristy rituals. Few of them to do in Manali are:-

a) Get yourself clicked on a Yak

It is sure going to be a hell lotta fun. Go for this Change of ride for once.

b) Get a shot with wild rabbit

Because they are cute as hell.

c) Become ‘Himachali’ Bride/Groom

Get dressed up in traditional ‘Himachali’ attire and get yourself clicked. Himachali garb is so damn beautiful.

d) Shopping

You can shop from a wide range of woollen stuff from mall road.
